I forgot about the engine differences. That’s far more important than the key 
issues. M112 for sure!

The 96 has a key on the drivers side. 97 only passenger side for some reason, 
makes zero sense. 98 back to drivers side.

I would avoid a 96-97 unless it was super cheaper or a diesel. The e320 still 
uses the 104 with its head gasket issues. 98 and up e320 has the m112 which is 
better IMO.

W210s you only had the infra-red receiver for the remote on the driver’s door, 
no lock cylinder. That means if central locking or the remote cacked you could 
only get in through the passenger door, which has a lock cylinder.

Nice, but be careful. The early W210s had some quirky stuff going on with them. 
Like no hard key on the driver’s door, for example. That was on,y on early 
models, maybe not this one.

Nice color, though. Youngest son’s 2002 E320 is this color.

That’s Mrs. Dan’s “binary throttle control” approach. I’ve given up trying to 
keep the wheels clean on her E320. It clearly has organic pads on it, but they 
won’t last much longer. I’m sure she’ll burn through them in a few more months. 
I’ll have a set of Akebonos to go on it soon, I’m sure.

Mine is because she starts braking half a mile before she intends to stop. 
Never knocks any rust off the brakes, almost never uses the rear brakes.

The brakes in her car last longer if I drive it to work once a month.
