Unless there's one from this century with the 3.7L gas V6.
I think there was a W220 with the same engine as my 2003 ML350, but I'm too 
lazy to look it up. 

Larry: The problem was in the head gaskets, with the 3.5L engine's larger bore 
the oil galley was too close to the #1 cylinder and the early gaskets sometimes 
blew out into the galley. If you were in better health, I'd say buy it, pull 
the head, and replace gaskets/bolts/timing chain/tensioner/glow plugs/injector 
nozzles. That should set it right for the next 200kmi or so.
