For changing oil or exposure to old oil and grease, I use nitrile gloves I buy at HF when they have them on sale. For other work that doesn't involve oil and grease, I use mechanics gloves. In addition to keeping your hands clean, they also help prevent soft tissue injuries when wrenches slip.
