That's what I do, except I use soapy water before the blow-dry.

The rebuilt Programa unit that I had in th 95 E300 quick working a while
back. I rebuilt the original one that was in the car. I put it back in
today and it works great. I got that one done in 1 try, assuming it
continues to work.
