never figured out what the difference was. 114 may be a short-hood version for 4 cyl engines The 114 was the up-scale version. All sixes were 114, all fours were 115. I'm not sure where the 5-cylinders fit in there, I think they might also have been 114. Our 250C is a 114, the 200D a 115.
