The big dealers around here do not appear to keep any inexpensive
vehicles. They want you to buy new so I think most of the traded
vehicles do go to auction here too.

Can't be done here, MA law states that any car for sale from a dealer must
meet a state safety inspection. I'm sure there are weasel ways around it but
the "good" dealers probably aren't trying it.
