That was me, I needed an alternator for my Toyota beater and the
belt is heavy and thick and seems to be a good quality. I would
order another one if I needed it.

I have found that other brands don't last as long as the conti. One
(of many) good thing about Q was that
Agreed, conti is the way to go. Still genuine MB in many cases, but some
other brands have appeared for genuine, like Optibelt. Also made in
Germany, appear to be good quality.
I think the last geniune belt I bought for my '95 E320 was a Mitsubishi
belt, oddly... with an MB star on it too.
