Binding calipers.
Deteriorating hoses.
Bad release valve in M
you don't
change brake fluid regularly.

I agree with MMM, the rubber brake lines have probably swollen internally
and now act like check valves.

My money is on sclerotic brake lines. Replace the rubber lines and bleed
