I'm surprised you haven't already, we've been talking about them for years. I
first put them on one of my 190Ds and then on my Ranger. I haven't had the

I don’t use organic pads on any of my cars. I’ve changed everything over to
Akebono. They last far longer and don’t generate anywhere near the amount of
dust that organics do.
Mrs. Dan is heck on brakes. The SL500 that she drives has over 30k on the front
Akebonos I put on it several years ago,
Akebono are the best. Ceramic pads are harder than conventional pads but
somehow magically have more friction so you use less pressure overall and,
counterintuitively rotors should last longer.

I’ve since replaced those wheels with the correct 15 hole alloys which I had
refinished last summer. Pretty sure you saw them. Finish is holding up great
but that brake dust is brutal.

Does it smell like conventional simple green?

I haven’t had much luck with a toothbrush in the past- damages the paint and
the smell of simple green makes me nauseous!

It's OK for aircraft, shouldn't hurt your wheels. I use it with one of the
air powered siphon sprayer guns and hot/warm water. It takes the exhaust

Ceramic (Akebono) brake pads. I’ve yet to find a wheel cleaner that did the job
with any sort of ease and wasn’t hard on the finish. I gave up some time ago,
although I will say one of the most promising things I used was a cheap Dollar
store cleaner

I’m trying to clean my recently professionally repainted 15 hole alloys on the
300D 2.5Turbo. As most everyone knows, these wheels are a challenge to keep
clean. The brake dust adheres pretty well in the corners of the recesses. I’ve
tried spray on brake dust cleaner- the type that sprays on blu
