That's excellent and I'll bet it still had the original and contaminated 
brake fluid. Most if not all Avalon drivers are one step from the home. The 
elderly couple next door is on their second one and I don't think she ever 
depresses 
the accelerator more than 1/2 inch.

But, MB brakes are lasting a lot longer these days. My two 201s would eat the 
front pads in 14K miles and the rears in 26K miles. The 202 at 48K miles had 
eaten two sets and needed discs. The 203 needed pads (1st time) at 43K miles 
and all four were pretty much evenly worn. The discs looked fine. So, new pads 
and wear sensors from Rusty for maybe $110 and it was good to go. Easiest pad 
change in any of my MBs.
