What’s the collective wisdom on this car?
I have an opportunity to pick up a 1998 C453 AMG with 143k on the clock for
around $4k. Very good condition, two owners, dealer maintained.
Being that this is one of the early C class models, I’m a little concerned.
Talk to me, guys.

Are you kidding? For the same money you can pick up a newer e430. For slightly
more there is a e55 for sale here. All of which are a lot better car than a C.
