Re: [MBZ] Continental Head Unit -- OT Speaking of power cycling

2016-11-04 Thread Floyd Thursby via Mercedes
The PO moved to Idaho or someplace so he's not around. I believe
someone is buried out on the island, I found a big conch shell out
there, which had to have been put there, and the Gullah folks used to do
that in place of a headstone which they could not afford. So there could
be that. There were also some fairly pitched battles that occurred
right here on my property and along the way during the Second
Waaaw of Independence, so there is the possibility of casualties
proximate to the casa. I painted all the porch ceilings "haint blue"
which the local root doctors say will keep the haints away, there are a
number of houses around the island that are painted blue just for that
reason.

Interestingly enough I found out this story that is kinda long to tell,
but it involved some interesting coincidences involving a guy who built
a house over an old graveyard, and some bones he dug up, and my cycling
group... it was all very strange.

The Southern coastal marshes, swamps, and tidal flats are infamous for strange
events, all the way from the Great Dismal Swamp in Northern North Carolina to
the Okeefenokee Swamp in Georgia.
The lifelong residents of the Okeefenokee Swamp will warn you not to go
frogging after a heavy rain since the spirits of executed criminals who were
buried in the swamp a hundred years ago will rise up out their sodden coffins
and put curses on anyone who is foolish enough to go out in the swamp at night.
The risk is especially great on moonlit nights when the shapes of the spirits
can be seen.
My sons BIL lived in your area; possibly the same island; back in the nineties.
He suddenly moved to Brunswick with no explanation why, but his young daughter
told my son it was because the place was haunted with people awakening in
terror at night because they felt the presence of someone or something in the
room.

Actually, the whole state of South Carolina is ghost and spirit ridden:

So I put this fan in our new bedroom that has a wireless RF remote. The
last few days the light is going on randomly, mostly during the day,
though it did it once during the night a few weeks ago and it was quite
startling. Today the fan went on randomly. I guess it is picking up
some stray RF signals from something, but there isn't much within a few
hundred yards of the house, so that kinda weirds me out. The remote
works fine when I use it, but maybe it is having some kind of fits. Or
the haints has taken up residence...

Max,

Any issues with support for it? This makes me a little uneasy about it now,
but no one on BenzWorld has reported any problems, and there are probably 8-10
people who have purchased this model for their cars.
