That is the ones I’m looking at. Either that or I might look into the GT radials again. Might try the Maxtour. The current tires I have on the car are these, which looked like they would be decent. They hum and it sounds like a bad wheel bearing. They seem to do great in the rain, even heavy rain. When the road is just wet, say after a rain, or just wet in general, it’s almost like you are on ice. I purchased a set of Vredensteins for my GLK 250 Bluetec SUV at Radial Tire in Silver Spring, MD. Cost about $165 ea.. They are awesome. Quiet, good traction, improved mileage. 60K warranty. I have had those before on several cars and I was looking at them again. When I used to buy the GT they were something like $60. I used to be able to buy Michelins for what the generals now cost. I have Costco Michelins on the E320 wagon and they’ve gotten close to 40k on them. Fronts need to be replaced, but the rears are still pretty decent. I’ve had good luck with Continentals when I could get them. I've got Continental tires on a car. No issues at all. They have like 45k miles on them, with great tread. I've got Altimax on another car, but it doesn't get the miles put on it. They are round and handle pretty well. Not much noise either. I have some cheap GT Radials on a 210, and I can't really complain. For an inexpensive tire, they are pretty good.
