The factory always painted the lower plastic trim
a different color than the body. Even my green E
320 had a different green on the plastic trim.

Dan, I couldn't see any evidence of a matching interior door frame. I
would bet this is a respray where the owner requested a similar but custom
color that matches something other than the car.
