[MBZ] Exhausting

2012-10-20 Thread Max Dillon
Yesterday I spent a few hours installing new exhaust parts (resonator and 
muffler) and tightening up the pipes installed where the cat used to be.  Added 
a couple adapter pipes trying to eliminate leaks.  I had pretty good success, 
but there is still an irritating rasp right around peek torque rpm.  I can feel 
two small exhaust leaks, but I suspect the exhaust support from the 
transmission is the culprit, that's the only one I haven't renewed yet.

Yes, may try some muffler tape if that mount hanging off to side of 
transmission is not the problem.
