The fan clutch performed well enough for the 1300
mile trip. I have not tested it yet when warm by
trying to stop the fan, but there was no
overheating. Much Improvement. I maybe should
have used the recommended 36cc, but the 18cc made
it functional.

I followed this instruction after wasting time and torch with the
method of trying to get it in where the pin goes behind the bimetal
thermostat.
