Re: [MBZ] Fw: 1994 MERCEDES E320
As Max opined, the W124 SLS system is pretty robust. Not something I would concern myself with. -D > On Jan 22, 2018, at 9:23 AM, Donald Snook via Mercedes > wrote: > > WOW! That is nice. Re: [MBZ] Fw: 1994 MERCEDES E320
Don, 124 wagons are more better, but have same hydraulic rear suspension. Better = hydraulic pump is not built into the head of the engine, but a dual-circuit power steering pump which lowers the cost of repair of either the pump or the head, and the pumps are far more common because of the relatively common gasser wagon vs. the more rare diesel wagons. I suspect that one could also adapt the dual circuit pump from a 126 sedan like the 560SEL which had the same suspension. Every 100k miles or so, plan on replacing the accumulator spheres, instead of replacing the shocks that the sedans use. - Max Charleston SC On Mon, Jan 22, 2018 at 9:23 AM, Donald Snook via Mercedes < mercedes@okiebenz.com> wrote: > WOW!
