This is the kind of thing CL is good for. Clapped out POS wagon engine munched? 
 Maybe I’ll just go look at it for grins. If nothing else the front fascia will 
fit the $500E300D. Same color. Offer $300.

I sent him an email to see where the car is and when I could look at 
it.  For $300 or $400 it would probably be worth it for parts for the 
dizzel if indeed the engine is locked.  Otherwise it might be some easy 
fix the guy has no clue about.


BTW the cheap dizzel is running pretty good now, I've been driving it a 
bit and thrashing it which it seems to like.

bits like window regulators, decent wheels / tires, drag the rest to
scrapyard.
