Depends on when you go, first thing in the morning on Sunday or Monday Manchester can be a madhouse. Because theres only a couple of people there isn't the flood capacity. I used to end up going an extra hour early, get through security when it was still slow and have a leisurely breakfast

I think that there is an airport in California that took the option of using their own security vice TSA, it's a big one but I don't remember which one. I've only flown in/out once since TSA came on the scene. If I were a smaller airport, I wonder how viable that would be. - Max
