Re: [MBZ] Homebrew BioD
B20 made with BioD made from Algae has been commercially available at retail pumps down the street from me for some time now. i've been watching 'AlgaeDiesel' for several years now, and hope that it may come to fruition as a practical source for biofuels. (the commercial BioDiesel manufacturers in this area already can't get enough WVO to support the demand for BioD.) cheers! e p.s. if anyone near the SF Bay Area wants my old 'Appleseed BioD processor cheap, drop me a line off-list. my current situation makes it superfluous. I'd love to, if I could find the feed stock. Is that a rhetorical question? I have the stuff to build a processor in storage. I just haven't bothered, because I am not going to pay yellow grease prices for feedstock. Re: [MBZ] Homebrew BioD
I have about 7000 gal/yr feedstock. Serious question. The oil is N of chicago, but still ill. We could haul it to IA or KS to process, but seems like it may be more practical to process it closer to where it is. We have technical resources available. We might spring for a 50 gal processor, or we can try your homebuilt one.If you have space and time we might trade some oil/fuel for your time/space to process. Do you have space for 4-6 250 gal totes at a time?
