I found that the bulbs themselves get dimmer over time; apparently the inside of the bulb darkens (from boiled-off filament?)..replaceing the bulbs themselves (with the PROPER bulbs from Rusty) is the best fix and keeps all functionality -j.

When working perfectly (as designed) the instrument cluster illumination of 123/126s is considered inadequate by many (maybe most) Americans. I am NOT among them. The only one I consider inadequate is the 123, in that I can't read the trip odometer at night. Otherwise it's perfectly
