That happened on my Element. Last year it was not driven for several months.
The battery eventually went dead due to the constant draw of maintaining
memory, clocks, etc.
When I charged the battery and started it, the idle speed wandered up and down.
I drove it around a bit and after a while
Will it reset everything to base if you disconnect the battery for a

After I bled the system I cranked on it and it fired right up after about 30
seconds. I expected to have to crank it a minute or 2. Runs and sounds great
and does smoke like a mosquito fogged and smell like pure diesel.

After at least a year of running my Duramax with a couple of bad injectors, I
finally spent $2400 and ordered a set of genuine Bosch updated rebuilds with
the install kit. Truck runs fine but at idle will start smoking like a pot head
who just spent his stimmy check. It’s not real bad smoke at
