For your future safety, and ease of maintenance at some point in the future, if you hardwire it in, install a disconnect box at the connection. Then, if you need to do work on that lift, pull the disconnect, so it is absolutely safe. Required by code for pool pumps, AC units, etc.. Not very expensive. [MBZ] Lift update
Only thing left is to connect the wiring, fill the hydraulic tank, bleed the system, and adjust the cables. When I wire it up I am also I stalling a 20 amp outlet at the control box to plug in the other lift. It has one of those round plugs in it and i am still debating on installing the outlet or just remove the plug and hardwire it in. This might be what I do but still deciding on that.
