The good news is that you can lay a 2x10 across it and have a nice bench
to sit on. Perhaps the only bumper I've ever seen that would work for
that.

Design excellence at its best. Plus, it only doubles the original purchase
price of the car.
[Did anyone catch the sarcasm in all that?]

Used to see a lot of British Leyland ads in the 1970s, but don't
remember this.
It's not quite so horrible when they're still black, but wow, that's a
huge bumper

Classic and easy to store
An automatic sports car is to be seen in instead of to be driven, IMHO.

Hmmm...Looks like it's a good many years since that AC compressor has
seen a belt.
And the air filter is a bit of an abomination.
I guess universal bellows flex radiator hose is OK if nobody is making a
proper molded hose anymore.
More British to empty your wallet. Just popped up in my
neighborhood. Nice color. Unfortunate that it's an automatic...

It is sort of a light green color, or maybe some sort of yellow. I will
have to hear it run first. But if it runs and I have to do very little
work, I will drag it home, shoot some good photos and flip it.

Leno always says to find the owners club for the marque and get in touch
with them. They will know where/how to advertise and what is a
reasonable ask so you will generate legitimate interest and not just
club members posting messages on the club email list about how you're on
crack.
Or throw it
I think he's right, about $4000 for a sorted running one. Look for rust.
Yes, the '77 will have the big ugly black bumper. The good ones ('67 and
older) have narrow chrome bumpers.

My buddy who bought an RV and is hitting the road has the 77 MGB he has had for
a while. Car looks clean and he says it runs
no idea, I don't know anything about them other than they are old and
kinda cool and some guys are into them. Get some good pics and post
them somewhere, would be fun to see. I could shop it around here if you
want.

If I were to finish it up, as in, sync the carbs and it has something going on
with the drivers door lock, could it be worth say around 5-6k?

You probably wouldn't fit comfortably if you are much over 6' tall. I
drove an MGB-GT once when I was in college and 6'4" and I barely fit, it
was fun to drive it around the ramp at the airport but that was about
it. I think it would have been dangerous to drive it on the road, being

I have not tried but really just looking for a flip.

My buddy who bought an RV and is hitting the road has the 77 MGB he has had for

have not synchronized them yet. Otherwise seats are very nice, top appears to
