You are missing the point, David. Mobil 1 15-W-50 does NOT get thick at
-20F. Those of us who use Mobil 1 were using the 15-W-50 until they came out
with the 5-W-40 recently. Trust me, my 240D turned over w/ 15-W-50 as if
the outside air temp was summer like.

I might consider using M1 if I lived in a harsher climate (Phoenix or
WInnipeg, e.g.) but it doesn't seem cost effective in my situation.
