high and low side is equalized, so I guess compressor is shot Most likely, especially if they're exactly equal. Not sure x valve can be open far enough to cause that symptom. [MBZ] More AC issues
So the AC quit working on that POS ML I got from OK Don. The compressor is kicking on so I thought maybe it was a tad low. I hooked it up to the AC machine, had a charge, compressor was running but high and low side is equilized, so I guess compressor is shot and not doing anything? Or is it possible the expansion valve is stuck open or something? Unfortunately for him, Kaleb has put OVER 700,000 miles on it already!
