Re: [MBZ] More dishwasher

2016-04-05 Thread Dan Penoff via Mercedes
The big box stores suck on high ticket items, I think.

I wanted a nice Honda walk behind mower a few years ago, and Home Despot had
the best price that I could find. That is, until I called a local Honda
lawnmower dealer, a mom and pop place close to work.

I didn't tell them I was shopping, just that I wanted a particular Honda model,
and did they have it?

Same price as Home Despot. 45 minutes of instruction, answered all of my
questions, test ran it and loaded it in my car. I just called them recently
and asked about annual service.

"Do you change you car's oil?"

"Yes."

"There's no reason to bring it to us unless you're having problems. Just drain
and refill the oil, put a new air cleaner element and spark plug in it, and cut
your grass. If it acts up, call us and we'll come pick it up."

That's the kind of service I like/want/will gladly pay for.

Kaleb,
Your pictures seemed to show a lot of deposits or left behind film/residue on
the parts. Have you checked your drain lines to be sure they aren't backing up
during the wash cycle or rinse cycle? Have you tried stopping the unit at the
end of the wash cycle to see if things are actually getting clean? Or you may
be fighting some bad hard water or something else. More thoughts...
Best Wishes,

Ps after discovering lowes does not have any Bosch at all in stock at any store
I sent an inquire in at a local appliance dealer. They have them in stock and
they are $200 cheaper than Lowes. Guess that's where I will be going if I go
that route.
