The coral snake is NOT a pit viper, but its bite will still kill you quite dead. Those of us growing up here in Texas learned these lessons early. Well, there were those who didn't...but they're mostly no longer in the gene pool. Think -- PIT viper. Wonder why? 'Cause it has pits on
