I bought a 1973 BMW 2002 a few years back. It's a nice California car that I bought cheap due to a smashed nose. While I will fix it, I decided to get it registered and drive it. So today I took it out and it blew a coolant hose. The hose was replaced and I thought all was well until it started

What was sorta' odd regarding the overheating in the '70 BMW I had was that what convinced me to purchase the car was that I had a friend who was racing one in SCCA at the time but, in hindsight, I'll bet he had the engine opened up periodically and never reached the mileage for it to start
