Ahhh just pulled up the picture and info. That is a brick nose Ford,
which means it has a start switch mounted on the top of the steering post
which is activated by a 3/16th rod that is activated when you turn the key
to "start".
[ie key moves rod, rod moves slide switch to energize start solen
Ford key tumbler replacement is really easy. Replacement tumbler set with
keys are cheap. There is a push pin that releases the lockset.
Done and run for less than $30 and 30 minutes.

Buy it and a some pliers. Cheap enough. Then find a junker at the knacker and
get a new steering column and put a new lock in it
