I got a flu shot as soon as they were available, like in September, if I recall. We usually get ours around the beginning of October, as our Internist’s practice has a “mass vaccination” day where they do the flu vaccine for all of the patients, something like several thousand in 3-4 hours. It’s quite the setup. As soon as we saw it was available we jumped on it, so this year it was Walgreens. -D > On Dec 21, 2020, at 12:50 PM, Mitch Haley via Mercedes > wrote: > > You read the little book that comes with any drug, and among 'side effects > seen in at least 2% of test subjects' there's always nausea. GWN is scraping the dregs from the vials to gather a few more doses. Since it is not easy to store, I guess they are hoping to service enough before the thing goes off. There is also the trouble of not being able to get it to outlying villages before it goes off, since each case needs to get split into 50 or 100 dose batches. Andrew can have my doses. It’s paywalled.
