Re: [MBZ] OT: Priority for receiving the vaccine

That's all the helicopter mommies who are worried about their little
snowflakes getting sick have lots more problems.  Throw them in the
contagion pot, let them get sick and build up some immunities, and life
will be better later on.

I got a flu shot as soon as they were available, like in September, if I
recall. We usually get ours around the beginning of October, as our Internist’s
practice has a “mass vaccination” day where they do the flu vaccine for all of
the patients, something like several thousand in 3-4 hours. It’s quite the
setup. As soon as we saw it was available we jumped on it, so this year it was
Walgreens.

It's good enough for the VP (Mike Pence) so why would anyone worry?

There is a huge operation here to package the Moderna doses. Being done
at a company called Catalent. It has been going on for a while now. They
built a new facility and were hiring all summer to prep for it. VP Pence
was here the other day to visit. Interesting operation to fly his
entourage and motorcade into our little county airport.
