You want fun flying (and I’ve done the DCA approach many times, too) you should
fly the former Reeve Aleutia 727s that were configured half cargo, half people
that were flown all over AK for decades.

That's a carrier landing. I used to fly EAL from BOS-DCA a lot. The
last bit of the approach is down the Potomac river, lots of jinking
around then the runway was short too. Those ex-Naval Aviators knew how
to plant those 727s on that strip, it was always an adventure.
