See if you can test them to make sure they are bright enough, at least equivlaent to the fluorescents. But, yeah, LEDs are the way to go now. I made a whole bunch of lights for my kitchen, put cheepchinee LED GIU10 spots in them, and they are REALLY bright. You might want to look into doing
