BTO is good stuff.  I don't recall hearing that one before!   Sounds like they had been listening to Mason Proffit.   Mason Profit blended western, bluegrass, and rock with some blues thrown in for goog measure.   They never reached big label stardom, but were a #1 regional/underground band.
