Rick I don't know, I bought these KYB struts in a rush from Rusty's Buy
Jap-Car Parts.com "back in the day". I didn't have a lot of time to look
around, and the genuine Nissan struts were incredibly expensive.

Some predictions have changed. It looks like it may go up the east coast of
Florida and on to points north, or go further out to sea and spare Florida
except for high
The latest trend is for Irma to veer sharply to the North - with the eye
passing to the East of, sparing it a direct hit. What would follow is a
whole slew of possible tracks as the storm makes its way up the coast,
including a direct hit on Charleston. Yikes! Or it could barrel out to
sea...

Stupid question, and I will probably do an Internet search on it in a few.
Does Koni still make shocks and struts?
Back in the day (40 plus years ago) them and Bilstein were the stuff.

That's what we're hoping to do. Looks like it might be working.
If it hangs out and makes it into the Gulf we'll be in big trouble. The NE
quadrant of these storms is the worst, and would inflict the most damage.

Just had it aligned, so I'll put up a stink if they should have caught this
with the list of other stuff they caught (like entire control arm with ball
joint on other side). Struts are relatively low mileage, but 8 years old and
KYB which is lower end stuff.

Struts $600
Both lower ball joints $300
Four wheel alignment $100
Grand total. $1,000
Not having to listen to SWMBO bitch...
Priceless.

Probably about $100 or so, if it is a lower
Florida needs to wind up and when Irma hits, hit her back and knock her out
into the Atlantic.

Your fears may not be realized. It could track across the Keys and then
into the Gulf, where strengthen into a Cat 6 before smashing into Pensacola
or Biloxi.

I sure hope not, but filled up the tank with diesel this a.m. (2.43 /
gallon, cheapest I've seen in the last couple days) and I'm going to start
organizing / preparing this evening. SWMBO is taking her car (Infiniti) in
to see about getting some suspension clunk fixed. She picked up a couple
I am pretty sure we are gonna get whacked bad here, after the islands
and FL get whacked worse.
