The one that always gets me is "I'll call you back". They never call you back...
I've gotten to the point where I'm so surprised if somebody actually does call
me back that I want to speak to their supervisor and give a positive review. I
want to reward that behavior so that it happens again.

It's a lot cheaper/easier to make something that _looks_ well-built than to
actually do it.
I had this Kobalt garden rake, fiberglass handle, looked pretty sturdy,
I recall when I bought it I thought well it will last being fiberglass.
i was using it the other day and the handle snapped at the neck of the
rake, turns out the inside of the fiberglass tube is just cheap wood,
