Stock power rating is a little less than a OM603, but I bet you could boost that a lot before running into durability problems. Problem is it's taller than a OM617. Mitch Like I've said here before, I've been dreaming for a long time of putting a Cummins engine in a '70s or '80s Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. Those things have TALL hoods and I bet you'd have the clearance with little or no fabrication. There are already kits out there to swap a Chevy small-block into the Rolls, so some of the work is already done as far as mount fabrication, etc. (I.e. if you can swap a Chevy 350 in for the Rolls 6.75, and a Cummins in place of a stock 350, then by the transitive property...) Now THAT would be one sweet truck. I wonder what they had to do for front springs ( as the gears turn in my head looking out at the f350 in the driveway :-) -Robert Mitch Haley wrote: Several years ago, a fellow put a C series Cummins 6 cylinder (8.3L I believe) in front of a Fuller 9 speed trans, in a F350 4x4. 1050 foot pounds without modifying the engine. Now that's a sweet idea! If you were to keep an eye on the papers out in LA every once in a while an old rolls in the state of neglect required for such an endeavor pops up cheap. --Robert Alex Chamberlain wrote: Ive said here before, I've been dreaming for a long time of putting a Cummins engine in a '70s or '80s Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow.
