This tale reminds me of an old friend who has since passed on. His electric razor was not holding a charge so he went to a shop that services electric razors and bought replacement rechargeable batteries for his razor. Then went home and installed them but they did not appear to work, so he took them back out and was on his way downtown to return them for a replacement set the next morning. On his way he stopped in for coffee at a shop where a number of us met pretty much daily. He told me his tale of woe and I asked him how long he had let them charge for before he tried the razor. There was a sudden look of surprise on his face and he sheepishly admitted he had not charged them at all. The batteries were good after he re-installed them and charged them up. I took Angie's '05 Golf in for a new timing belt the other day. My TDI guy is an hour and a half away so rather than arrange for somebody to go with me I just rented a tow dolly. Backing up to a tow dolly is always hard because they're so small, I figured the backup camera on the '18 RAM 1500 would help but I could barely see the dolly. I had a similar epiphany, jumped out, wiped the road grime off the camera and low and behold! Hook up was a breeze when I could actually see the target. -Curt On Friday, March 15, 2024 at 08:55:33 PM EDT, Frederick Moir via Mercedes wrote: We wanted a video doorbell sans WiFi crap etc. Bought one and installed it.
