I'm just going by the manual which says 100g/L. With 12.5 L in
the 123 cooling system that would be 1250 grams or around 2.75lbs
according to one conversion program.

What are you using to get 7.5 lbs?

Are there differing strengths of citric acid and if so which strength

Kaleb,
What are you doing with a cheap ($400) garbage disposal? Should be at

least twice that and probably a Bosch to match the DW. I don't know if I'm
just lucky or what but my disposal and DW are still going since 1999 when I
built my house. And the DW is a Maytag, but I don't remember the disposal,
GE maybe?

Now to the serious side, can't you just put in some drano or some sort,

after all, it cleans hair clogs in the other drain lines?

Good luck and best wishes,

Only if you get real apples and stomp them with your own real bare feet
and ferment the juice in your own oak barrel, with air exposed, for a

Your feet will turn brown for a few days.

Kaleb,
What are you doing with a cheap ($400) garbage disposal? Should be at least
twice that and probably a Bosch to match the DW. I don't know if I'm just lucky
or what but my disposal and DW are still going since 1999 when I built my
house. And the DW is a Maytag, but I don't remember the disposal, GE maybe?
Now to the serious side, can't you just put in some drano or some sort, after
all, it cleans hair clogs in the other drain lines?
Good luck and best wishes,

We compost most of our food waste but the garbage disposal is sure handy for
"stuff" that falls off plates and out of pans and whatnot. It just means we
don't have to be all that careful scraping plates before washing...

Thats what we have. My wife likes to let silverware go down the drain and then
apparently can't hear the gawd-awful noise it makes so I have to come running
in and tell her to shut it off. Every couple months I take the pile of spoons
and grind the dents back out of them.
Insinkerator uses a neat system where the blades are fixed and the "stuff" gets
thrown against them. Since the gap between the thrower and the blades is pretty
large is difficult for stuff, other than spoons, to get trapped in the gap and
lock it up.

I think the key is just a hex key, not sure it it would be standard or
metric.

[MBZ] OT garbage disposals

2017-03-02 Thread Kaleb C. Striplin via Mercedes
So when I redid the plumbing under the kitchen since with the install of the
Bosch dishwasher i installed the biggest most powerful garbage disposal I could
find that also supposedly self clears jams. It can chop up anything, put bones
down it, will chop them up no problem. For some unknown and unexplained reason
the wife decided to dump the used rainbow vacuum cleaner water down in and
managed to jam it up tight. Not really sure what she was thinking. I can only
assume it's got a big mess of hair out of the carpet wrapped tight around the
blades or small rocks or something. Of course the tool that comes with it to
manually crank it back and forth is missing. Lord help me.
