Pro tip: Build an engine receiving cradle that will fit on a pallet jack. ie a good solid wood pallet with blocks of wood screwed to it at the proper locations to receive the engine. Then, when the engine cradle is detached from the car, you can lift the car off the engine with the car hoist,

A subframe engine drop using your new car lift would be a cake walk... Set jackstands under the subframe lift points, disconnect all plumbing and electrical, then the attach bolts for subframe assembly Lift the car off the engine. Repeat in reverse to install replacement.

I have talked to him. He wants $2500 for the 08 and $4k for the 09 engine. Mine is a 09 but I really need to find out if a 07 or 08 will work. To drop the engine out on these it comes out the bottom, you drop the whole subframe then lift the car off it. I paid a grand for it. Thinking about

Great buy, if only for the parts to convert a nice 300D turbo to a 4 speed. And despite what Marshall said, the combination works really well. Regarding the loss of boost when shifting, this is nonsense. Turbo gas engines with manual transmissions have this much worse than 617a would have it.

85 300D, white with tan, ac, windows, everything works except cruise. Paint decent paint, with some messed up paint on trunk. Runs and drives excellent, will probably need valves adusted and purge, starts great whel cold, even down to the single digits but runs rough for a couple of minutes,
