IIRC, there was an inspector that *flung* them into the correct chute.
It certainly was a bit of a shock, but they didn't seem to be terribly
upset by it! Nor the falling inbetween rollers to separate them from
the eggshells.

Well... looks like YouTube comes to the rescue

It is definitely a good show. A nice change of pace from all the drama
"make sure you come back after the commercial break" type shows.

Yeah, but I don't recall the sorting method. Didn't a certain gender fall
down a chute into a bin and the other sucked to the side or something?
Not an animal rights advocate, but it is a bit of a shock to see animals
treated like inanimate objects.

yeah, it could be connected to the intake, and it could double as an early

I haven't seen the 'meat' episode, but have you guys seen the one about
chicks (as in chickens)? Their gender sorting technique was quite amusing.

[MBZ] One of you needs to make this hood ornament

2008-02-13 Thread Zoltan Finks
Leave it to "How It's Made" - one of my favorite shows.
Besides reminding me today one of the reasons I don't eat meat, they are
showing how a Rolls Royce is made.

I didn't know that the hood ornament was retractable via a switch! I would
absolutely enjoy having that on my Benzes!

Not only would it be kept safe from vandals, it would really put me in the
correct Mercedes mood every time I got ready to set out on the road. Flick -
vrooop - up comes the Star!

I am confident that one of you geniuses can design one of these and then
tell us all how to do it - or sell us a kit.
