If there are no screws on the outside, it's accessed

Just recently my parking brake (in my 1976 300d w115) stopped indicating
it's on. I know the bulb is good (because the car's had a floating ground
since the day I got it, while I'm starting up and the battery light is lit,
the brake light lights faintly... and still does), so that

The pedal pulls on one cable that in turn pulls on a yoke in

About 15 cars slid out of their spaces when the owners parked warm tires on an

I have always been puzzelled how a car can continiously by held in
position by the compression of 1 cylinder by leaving it in gear ( manual

When one cylinder leaks down and the crankshaft turns, another
comes up on the compression stroke. Or so it seems to me.

Older son went to NC State U. football game with his boss. Boss' 80-yr-old
dad, who has had 50-yd-line season tickets for 30 yrs was missing from his
seat for first 30 min. or so. When he finally arrived at his seat, he told
rest of the party that, when he got to his assigned and paid-for
that would be classic; as long as the parking space thieves hadn't
stolen the car, too,...

The people with older bimmers seem more civilized. Possibly because they are
