I explored the idea at one point.

The E300D is his, not mine to sell.
I guess he likes it. He was stuck in Ohio this weekend waiting for another
driver that’s coming tomorrow. Bored out of his mind. Otherwise, I have no
idea - he doesn’t complain about it, so I guess he likes it.
Crappy way to make a living, IMHO. However,
Note that he is talking about evacuation zones. That’s low-lying areas, which
is most of the downtown and surrounding areas. We’re not in an evacuation
zone. In fact, our property is on the fringes of Zone 5, which if activated,
would mean there would be storm surges of over 30+ feet
So how does he like the truck driving thing? You should sell the e300 to me.

According to the word-mongers: "The Tampa area has not taken a direct hit
from a major hurricane in nearly a century.
"You need to leave -- not tonight, not in an hour, right now," Gov. Rick
Scott warned residents in the evacuation zones ahead of the storm's
predicted arrival on Sunday morning."
That would be one way to approach it. In my case I prefer to protect the cars
of value.
The eldest hasn’t been home in a month and probably won’t be for some time, as
he’s now a team driver for an over the road trucking firm (Prime?) We hear from
him occasionally when he’s swapping loads but
Maybe you should have a car with comp on it exposed so it's covered, unless you
are trying to avoid a claim.

Pretty low, maybe an occasional gust to 20-30 mph I would venture. I see
neighbors still walking around checking things out and walking dogs.

My dogs are ferklempt too, they can't figure out why it is light outside
and so dark inside. But they will be fine. It's kinda weird for me too.

The SL500 and E320 are in the garage. The E320 is our bug out car in the event
of severe damage and is currently loaded with a full tank of fuel, bug out bags
and a secure locker with all of our important papers. The 350SDL is pulled up
nose in to the garage door in front of the SL500.
So you put plywood up on the windows. How do you prep the cars for the storm? I
am assuming you don't have room in the garage for all of them.
