Of course the plan was to get it running fairly cheap and flip it for about $3k or so. It’s actually pretty nice except for the paint burned off the top. It’s silver with blue leather, with the leather in great shape. Sent from my iPhone > On Nov 6, 2022, at 5:02 PM, Kaleb Striplin wrote: >

I ran my HF scope down there and I can see where it comes out. I did discover the vent line (or what I assume is the vent line, that goes from the bottom of the tank on the outside and goes inside at the top, appears to go into sort of a rectangle like deal in the top of the tank. From there it

You said the outlet was near the sump, didn’t you? Any chance you could get an inspection mirror or a scope in there to see if it’s clogged or clear? This is where my el cheapo Chinesium USB endoscope really comes in handy. -D > On Nov 6, 2022, at 2:23 PM, Kaleb Striplin via Mercedes >

Dang now why didn’t I think of that. That would be perfect. I had an old one laying around here but I think I may have thrown it away. I could not get the music wire past the first bend, it’s too stif. I then stripped out an individual strand out of a 10ga romex cable and I could get it

I sure wish I would have done all of this before applying the coating. Anyway I think I’m going to have to squirt some carb cleaner in there and let it soak. If it’s dried up fuel in the line, if it’s like the other crap I got out of the tank it can be rock hard. This has got to be the worse

I am trying the music wire now. It is fairly stiff but as soon as it goes it it’s got a 90 degree turn inside the tank. It seems like I might have made part of the turn but am hitting a block. It might have made part of the turn but but the whole thing. I may try a piece of 1 wire in a romex

Gas welding wire, comes in different sizes and is "sort of flexible" which should work... smooth the end so it doesn't have sharp edges to hang up going around any bends in the line Once you get it all the way in.. a little back and forth should break up the blockage... or, chuck the wire into

At the moment I have poured in the sealed and rotated the tank to coat all surfaces, after that was done I took the air hose to blow out the 2 lines on the bottom of the tank. One of them is the vent line that goes to the top of tank. It passed air fine. The other one which is the fuel return
