Linkage won't result in too low idle if the idle screw is properly set
(but CAN result in too

Took a harder look at it during a smoke break...it is gold. Now, it WAS all
the way in and I adjusted it out and it is fine. EXCEPT that my idle is too
low.

You should look at the manual for this job and see the proper lengths to
adust the rods to. You adjust them so that the linkage hits the full load
stop with the pedal to the floor.
Do you have the sevice manula on CD?
I do not have the service manual on CD. Are any of those braingears sites up
and working - half the time they don't (work) or aren't (up).

Kinda strange that on one 300 mile trip, RDB, idle and throttle links (maybe)
