Feel along the side of the steering column for a switch. Move it towards you to telescope the wheel to you, and away to move it away. All NA spec 124's that I know of did that. If your car doesn't have much in the way of power toys then you may not have this handy feature. It was good for me on

Where lucky that the MB's shipped out here had an engine, let alone fancy gizmos like that. As an example all Oz delivered 123's had manual climate controls, don't think it was even an option to have auto climate. Anyway the seating position in the 124 is pretty good, I wouldn't mind having
