Saw a 72 230  4 cyl GAS engined sedan and it was nearly whole.   The thing 
that caught my eye is the belt driven vacuum pump mounted on the  engine.  I 
have looked under a lot of hoods and never seen a belt driven  vacuum pump 
before.
 
Also, the Euro 81 280SEL has a smog pump stacked on top of the AC  
compressor.  The AC compressor was a rotary type, similar to the ones on  later 
300E, 
etc.  It also had ABS, the earliest model I, personally, have  ever seen.  I 
know the 6.9s had them from 77 but US legal cars are rare  with ABS.
