That's an easy R/R - remove the driver's side kick panel and it's located
near the pedal assembly.  You'll need a 10mm and maybe two other simple
tools, IIRC.

Don't mess around - buy a rebuilt amp from Programa in FL.  Their price is
fair and the rebuilt units (with core exchange) last and last... They also
buy cores.

Does anyone have the job sheet for replacing the cruise control amp on my
1983 300SD. Are they available on-line anymore?  How about a source for a
rebuilt amp?

troubleshooting tip, how the cruise control systems work, etc.
