Is Rusty away or something? I've been trying to get an answer from him for
three weeks on a product that I was charged for but which never was
shipped. I doubt it is an email issue, since he has no trouble taking the
orders by email, yet my emails to him have gone

When I order car parts, I generally have a long list of very specific
items. I don't mind calling to discuss it after sending an e-mail, but if
I have to list all of the parts over the phone it will take a long time,
and there will almost certainly be mistakes in the order

Because if he does owe you $200 worth of stuff and you are not getting a
response from email, the logic would say to call. Calling up there is
usually best anyway as Rusty seems to get behind on his emails.

Because its polite thats why. He probably gets a couple hundred emails a
day. If you want proper service treat him like a human being, pick up the
phone and ask whats up.
Email
is a way for people to snivel without having to fess up to it...

Actually, I think phone is best, but if you have a long list, get on
the IM and then paste your list into the IM.

email the list and then call. Last place is
I did my last order over IM and it worked well.

That is the key. When I am about to call Rusty, I IM him and say next phone
call is me. For some reason, he still answers the phone. Damn'd Capitalist.
