We once had something similar happen at a lab where I worked.
The parking lot served the lab and a couple of unrelated buildings.
At lunchtime an obnoxious lab employee damaged a car from one of the other
buildings and left a note on the windshield with his name and other
information. He told us
Yeah, one would have to be very creative but well worth it. Afterwards, if
there's any flak tell the boss it was a team building exercise.

I get a panicked call while I'm at work, some guy backed into the front bumper
and apparently scraped it up or something. She only took the time to get the
other guys name and phone and took a picture of his rear bumper license plate
and trailer hitch. Guy was total gentleman about it.
